Mrs. Leo Strouf passed away at her home in Winter, WI, on Monday, Feb. 10, 1947 following an illness of about three weeks.

She was born in Czechoslovakia on May 13, 1874, and came to America at an early age. In 1895 she was married to Leo Strouf in Chicago, and they came to Sawyer County in 1912.

Survivors are her husband, six daughters, Mrs. Mary Rixman of Ojibwa, Mrs. Anna Lowers of Winter, Mrs. Rose Funk of Waukegan, IL, Mrs. Libby Jackson of Coos Bay, OR, Mrs. Emma Olson of Winter, and Mrs. Margaret Enders of Waukesha; four sons, Joe and Edward of Winter, Frank and Albert of Coos Bay, OR; one brother, Charles Schober of Chicago. Two children preceded her in death.

Funeral services are being held this afternoon from the Presbyterian Church in Winter, Rev. SA Lay of Winter and Rev. RJ Barnes of this city officiating. Interment in the Winter Cemetery. The Anderson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
