Social Media Training For Businesses
When: Monday, January 27, 2014
Where: Winter School Library
The Winter Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with UW Extension, is pleased to offer the area business community this seminar on strategy and techniques in using social media for your organization or business. If you don’t have a working understanding of social media opportunities with names such as Facebook, Linked In, or Twitter, you may want to consider attending. Attendees will learn how to create a Facebook page for your organization and how to use it as a marketing tool.
Our presenter is Ariga Grigoryan, the Community Natural Resources and Economic Development Agent from UW-Extension in Sawyer County. Ariga joined UW-Extension in Sawyer County in June 2013. She moved here from Walla Walla, Washington State. Ariga has a Master’s Degree in Natural Resources and Peace from “University for Peace” in Costa Rica. She has extensive international experience in sustainable and economic development and natural resource management.
Pre-registration is not necessary, however it would be nice to have an idea of how many are planning on attending. If you could, please call the Chamber office at 715-266-2204, or pop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, and let us know you will be coming.
